In selecting materials for the Affinity collection, designers and engineers at Broyhill create products that use a combination of oak and other selected hardwood solids, oak and other hardwood veneers, and wood and/or simulated wood products. Certain parts, simulated wood carvings and/or other decorative embellishments may be made of simulated wood components.

A bottom panel below every drawer keeps clothes in the drawer beneath it clean and free of dust. To make sure your piece doesn’t wobble when you lift it up at one end, most Broyhill wood furniture is built with 3/4-inch side panels instead of the typical 5/8-inch. Look to the back of your piece for another sign of Broyhill quality. We use screws instead of staples to attach back panels. And blocks in each corner for additional support. The simple connected design of French dovetail connections require additional wood that takes up drawer space. That’s why we use interlocked English dovetails to maximize strength, stability and storage.
