Mattress Cover:
The new IC 1100 features a Double sided mattress covered in a natural Bamboo cover. This is a highly absorbent mesh - like structure that has microscopic gaps in the fiber to ensure the fabric always feels cool and fresh. The Bamboo material has been quilted to Quiltflex quilting foam for added resilience. It also has suede like sides. This bed features the cover on both sides of the mattress so it can be flipped and used on both sides!
Topper Foam:
The IC 1100 has two separate sections of topper foam since the mattress is double sided. 1 side uses a 1.5 inch thick "Talalay Latex" comfort pad, and the other side uses a new plant based synthetic latex that is 2.75 inches thick convoluted foam. This one of a kind design gives the mattress two separate premium sleep surfaces to choose from!
Air Core Chambers:
The IC 1100 mattress features revolutionary Air Core Chambers that are made with Pure Urethane and utilize a special patented design. This material is the best way to make an air chamber! It is virtually puncture proof and won't tear. These unique chambers give a completely adjustable sleep surface from edge to edge!
Foam Perimeter Support:
1.6 density foam, encased with zippered fabric covers on each section. Velcro fasteners to keep edges together.
Support / Base Foam:
Heavy duty 6 inch thick Omalon foam cushioned sections, with zippered fabric covers.
Air Control System:
The IC 1100 uses Comfortaire's exclusive new Whisperflow 5200s pump. It is a piston driven pump that uses a double diaphragm for air control. This new model fills up the air chambers fast and quietly! It is the quietest pump in the air bed line. This pump also features an intelligent hand control. It has easy to read labels and buttons. You can establish your favorite setting into the unit's memory, and refill the air core chambers to full with one touch of a button.
